We started this podcast because we wanted to provide a resource not only for our clients, but for all people that are researching careers, colleges or academic majors. It’s always a good idea, before you spend lots of time and/or money investing in a career, to do your research on the profession to make sure it is a good fit for you. One great way to do that research is by talking to someone currently working in the field.

With this podcast, we want to assist you with your career research! We will be interviewing experienced professionals, from a variety of careers, to ask them questions like: How did you get started in your career? What sort of education or training would you recommend to someone interested in this career? If you went to college, can you tell us about that experience? What is a typical day like on your job? What are the advantages of your job? What are the drawbacks? What are three things you love about your job?

We will also interview college and career experts that can assist the listeners with all their college and career planning needs.

When creating this podcast, we definitely had School Counselors and Career Counselors in mind. We hope this podcast offers you a valuable resource when helping students/clients to research colleges and careers.
